Why We Give
Paul encourages us, believers, to “give proof” of our love by our grace giving; reminding us of the grace of our Teacher and Master, the Lord Jesus Christ “that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Cor. 8:9 NKJV
Jesus came to give himself that we might also give ourselves for Him, for His glory and for His kingdom. He came to serve that we, His followers, might also learn to be servants of God and of others.
